Police Citizen's Advisory Board
The Police Department’s Citizen Advisory Board was established in 1995 and is comprised of a seven person board that serves staggered three year terms and meets quarterly.

The goals of the Citizen Advisory Board are: 
  • To enhance delivery of police services in Upper Merion Township. 
  • To facilitate support and effective communications between the police and the community. 
  • To enhance community life through an increase in public safety awareness and a reduction in the incidence of crime. 
  • To enhance awareness of the departments’ policies, procedures, activities, and responsibilities throughout the township. 
  • To encourage neighborhood organizations to address crime and safety problems at a grass roots level. 
  • To address citizens’ concerns regarding police services.
