The generosity of our neighbors has enabled the local organizations listed below to fight back against the loss caused by Hurricane Ida.
The organizations below are providing emergency resources to local residents impacted by the storm, thanks to generous donations from our neighbors.
- Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard
UMACC will be collecting and distributing funds to local residents affected by the flooding in Bridgeport. All monies received from September 1 will go directly to the families affected.

UMACC is accepting the following personal care items: bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, disposable razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Please drop off your donation at UMACC during hours of operation.

Available Resources: clothing, non-perishable food, toiletries, pet food, some baby food and supplies, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies.
Hours of Operation: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings (September 8, 9, and 10) from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and on Saturday and Sunday (September 11 and 12) from 10:00AM to 4:00PM
