Mission Statement
The Upper Merion Foundation was created in 1999 and is a broad-based, qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit, community organization. Our exclusive purpose is to serve the needs of the Upper Merion community by raising funds and securing resources to support programs that improve the quality of life for all.
Upper Merion Foundation’s mission is to provide funding for the critical needs of Upper Merion residents during emergency situations. Donating to the Upper Merion Foundation enables timely support to vulnerable Upper Merion residents in acute need during Township-wide emergencies.

The Upper Merion Township Colonial Stoneware Stein
About the stein: this beautiful Colonial Stoneware stein is custom-made for historic Upper Merion Township by Westerwald Pottery in Scenery Hill, PA. The seven-inch vertical stein is hand-stamped stoneware inscribed with Upper Merion Township, establishment date, and traditional colonial-style decoration (leaf embellishment). Each stoneware piece passes through the hands of up to eight craftsmen. Because of this, no two pieces are alike. Each stein is delivered in a gift bag. Individual steins can be purchased for $30, or two for $50. We regret to inform you that the Upper Merion Foundation’s Springtoberfest event scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025 was canceled. The 50/50 Raffle (proceeds to benefit the Foundation) is live, and the drawing is on May 3rd. Tickets may be purchased up until 1:00PM on May 3rd.
