Please be advised that a snow emergency has been declared, effective from Friday, February 16 at 10:00 PM and is expected to conclude at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17. During this period, it is imperative to adhere to parking restrictions on all roads designated as Snow Emergency Routes.
Our primary objective during this snow emergency is to ensure the safety and accessibility of our community by prioritizing the clearance of primary roads, including essential bus routes. Typically, this essential task takes approximately six to eight hours following the cessation of snowfall. Once primary roads are deemed clear and accessible, our dedicated crews will commence plowing secondary roads. These collector and through roads are anticipated to be cleared within 12-16 hours after snowfall ceases. Subsequently, our teams will proceed to address side roads, dead-ends, and cul-de-sacs.
We kindly request your cooperation and patience throughout the snow removal process, as our crews work diligently to restore normalcy to our township.
