Laura Arnhold was appointed the library director in 2016. She began her career in libraries at the age of 14, volunteering for her local library and later working part-time after school. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science in 2008, she worked as the Children’s Librarian in the township – planning children’s programming and assisting in finding that “just right” book for the kids in the community. Laura is a long-time member of the Pennsylvania Library Association and American Library Association and volunteers her time to supporting these organizations. Laura strongly believes that libraries will continue to remain relevant as they push past their walls to reach out online and through outreach in the community.
