About the Program
Don’t throw that tree out! Let Upper Merion Township collect it to be composted.
Starting on January 2 and ending on February 6, Upper Merion Township offers you a convenient way to dispose of your Christmas tree. Whether you prefer curbside collection or dropping it off at our Compost Site in Heuser Park, we’ve got you covered.
Pick-ups after the scheduled collection period must be submitted through a request for service.
Curbside Collection
Simply leave your Christmas tree at the curb, and our collection teams will take care of the rest.
- Place the bare tree near the curb for collection.
- Please remove all ornaments, lights, stands, bags, etc. before disposing of the tree.
Compost Site Drop-Offs
If you’d like to drop off your tree personally, visit our Compost Site at Heuser Park. It’s not only convenient but also environmentally responsible.
Your tree will contribute to our community’s sustainability efforts.
