Upper Merion Parks and Recreation will hold its annual Earth Day event for the public this year, 2024. The event will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Township Park and Lower Level Parking Lot behind the Township Building (175 W. Valley Forge Rd, King of Prussia PA).
This event will feature a variety of vendors, food, drinks, a free petting zoo, and earth day award ceremony, and more.
This event is centered around learning about and encouraging the following themes; sustainability, healthy lifestyles, eco-friendly, eco-conscious products/services, the health of Mother Earth and all those who inhabit it, and so on. We are not only encouraging the sale of products, but also raffles, demos, giveaways, interactive activities, etc.
Bike Collection and Bike Repair Services with Zummobikes will be available at UMPR’s Earth Day Festival at our Ross Road Field Parking on Saturday, April 20 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM!
*Event ends at 2:00 PM or until trucks are full. Whichever comes first.

Our third annual Recycling Drive-Thru event will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Upper Merion Middle School Parking Lot (450 Keebler Rd, King of Prussia, PA) and includes paper shredding service, E-waste collection through PAR Recycle Works. This event is free to the public (except for certain items through PAR Recycle Works) and is first come, first served until the event ends at 2:00 PM or when trucks fill up, whichever comes first. Please read all guidelines on what is accepted through each truck and any additional costs below.
If you are interested in participating as a vendor at this year’s Earth Day please fill out the online application. To do so please add yourself to the correct vendor category waitlist and follow the prompts, this will include creating an account with CommunityPass if you do not have one already. (You will NOT need to submit payment at this time. Payment will be taken after UMPR staff reviews your application and releases you from the waitlist).
