Upper Merion Park Partners is a program to provide residents, organizations, and businesses with a variety of ways to help protect and enhance our parks, and to educate people about the importance of parks and open spaces.
Being a Park Partner provides you with an opportunity to get involved in a variety of ways:
- Annual Volunteer Events including Street, Stream, and Park Clean-Ups, Tree Planting, and Tree Weed and Mulch Events
- Friends of the Park (formerly Adopt-A-Park) Program
- Gifts for the Park, Adopt-A-Bench, Adopt-A-Tree Donation Program
The Park Partners Program enables residents to volunteer in community-wide events; commit to caring for a specific township park through the Friends of the Park Program; remember a loved one by donating funds for a tree to be planted, a bench to be installed, or for park equipment and amenities enhancement through the Upper Merion Gifts for the Park Program; or to support structural improvements, such as the paving of walkways or restoration of ponds.
Upper Merion Parks & Recreation maintains a list of potential projects and amenities and will work with interested benefactors to determine the most appropriate.
