The Planning Division’s mission is to ensure that Upper Merion Township remains a vibrant, sustainable place to live, work, and worship. This is done by uniting decision makers and the community to balance a range of requirements and benefits while identifying challenges, analyzing solutions, and helping to implement improvements.
The Planning Division handles the Township Land Development and Subdivision Applications, as well as updates to the Township Zoning Code and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances. The Planning Division also maintains the Township’s GIS database.
