• Building Demolition Permit Requirements
• Building Permit Application Form: Use this form for building, sprinkler, fire alarm, electric, tank, fence, shed over 150 sq. ft., construction trailers, deck, roof, siding, windows, demolition of building. Submit one permit application for each trade.
  • Roof Addendum: Attach to Building Permit Application
  • Fence Addendum: Attach to Building Permit Application. Permit required for: fences around pools, fences >6 ft. high, or commercial fencing that abuts a residential property ONLY.
  • Fence Regulations
    • Fences can be placed up to or on the property line. Homeowners are responsible for the accurate location of the property line.
    • Fences cannot be placed in any “right of way” or easement.
    • Fences cannot create a sight obstruction to any neighboring driveways or any corner.

  • Shed Addendum: Attach to Building Permit Application. Only required for Sheds>120 sq. ft. Use Zoning Permit for sheds <150 sq. ft.
• Dumpster/POD Permit Application
  ONLINE Permit Application for placing a Dumpster or POD on township street. Dumpsters/PODS are not allowed on state roads. Submit completed permit application online here. Your permit will be returned to you via email.
• EV Charger Permit
• Fire Prevention Permit Application Form (fireworks and bonfires only)
• Generator Permit – Use Building Permit Application. Combine electrical and mechanical (if applicable) for estimated construction cost.
  • Gas Fed Generators: Submit Building/Electrical Permit Application
    • Plot plan showing equipment setbacks, nearby windows, and gas line feed
    • Spec sheets on Generator and/or scope of work

• Mechanical Permit Application Form: Use this form for mechanical (HVAC) work.

• Stormwater Class A Permit Application Form
  • Stormwater, Drainage, Erosion Control Permit is for any new impervious surface < 3000 sq. ft. or land disturbance < 5000 sq. ft.  (Most residential stormwater permits will be Class A) Call 610-205-8509 for Residential stormwater questions.
  • Any new impervious coverage must show Best Management Practices (BMPs) on their Plot Plan.

• Temporary Use Permit Application Form for special events, temporary trailers, sales events, etc.
• Use and Occupancy Permit Application Form
  • Residential Use & Occupancy: NO USE & OCCUPANCY PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP OF SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS, provided the use of the dwelling remains the same.
• Use and Occupancy Permit for MALL TENANTS
• Zoning Permit for Sheds/Accessory Structures <150 sq. ft., and Free standing Decks <200 sq. ft. & <30″ above grade.
