Upper Merion Township Fall Tree Planting Day

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PLANT TREES!
Residents, local businesses, community, and school groups – we welcome you to come together to help protect and beautify our township by planting trees!

WHEN: Sunday, October 28 | 1:00 to 4:30PM
WHERE: Heuser Park, 694 W. Beidler Road, KOP 19406
TIME: Meet at 1:00PM to eat lunch and receive assignments.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Bring your favorite shovel if you wish. The work area may be wet or muddy – please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Work gloves will be provided.
FREE t-shirt to all new UM Park Partner Volunteers! Wear your Park Partner t-shirt if you have one! A complimentary lunch will be served at 1:00PM!
Funding for this event is provided through a TreeVitalize Riparian Grant secured by the township. TreeVitalize is the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resource (DCNR)’s partnership-based urban forestry program.
