The basic responsibility of the Planning Commission is to see that existing land is used in the very best interest of the Township as well as the landowner. The Planning Commission conducts studies that will affect the Township in the years to come, examines subdivision plans and conducts meetings upon request of developers and those seeking a change in the zoning classification of real estate. The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for upgrading sections of the Zoning Code.
