The Upper Merion Foundation exists for the purpose of securing resources to provide support to programs and benevolence to individuals that strengthen the community and improves the quality of life for the residents of Upper Merion Township, specifically at-risk youth, persons with disabilities and/or chronic diseases including veterans, and senior citizens in need.

PROBLEM (UMF areas of charitable focus) – SOLUTION – IMPACT
For example:
PROBLEM: many senior citizens in our community experience great difficulty in the winter with competing needs for energy (warmth) and food.
SOLUTION: The UMF is working with various community partners (Montgomery County Office of Senior Services, Upper Merion Emergency Aid, The Upper Merion Community Cupboard, Upper Merion Meals On Wheels) to identify and vet seniors who are in need of emergency heating to provide benevolence for furnace repairs, electric bills, heating oil, etc.
IMPACT: The UM Foundation has helped X seniors over the recent winter season!

How to Donate
Donations can be made via check payable to The Upper Merion Foundation. Please also include instructions if the donation is to be earmarked for a specific purpose. All donors will receive acknowledgement letters as a receipt for a charitable contribution as defined by the Internal Revenue Code. Checks can be mailed to the following address:
