The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists that a right lane closure is planned on Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on northbound N. Gulph Road between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202 in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County for overhead bridge construction.
This work is related to construction currently underway to widen and improve the Turnpike between milepost 324 and milepost 326.
Motorists should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching these areas.
Digital message signs will also provide information on closures and detours. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions. The scheduled activities will be pushed back to the following day/evening in the event of any cancellations.
