Saturday, April 22 for Upper Merion Township’s Earth Day Festival
Upper Merion Township will be hosting its annual Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 22 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. The event will be held at the Township Park and Lower Level Parking Lot behind the Township Building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, PA, and will feature a beer garden, live music, crafters, food vendors, games, community organizations, and much more.
ZummoBike will be in the Ross Road parking field to accept donations of outgrown, underused, old, or broken bikes. Their mechanics will either repair donated bikes to give to someone in need or remove good parts to use in other repairs. If you have a bike in need of repair, text your name, bike type, and repair request to 610-616-5430 prior to the event and a ZummoBike team member will let you know if they can assist you during the Earth Day festival.
Sunday, April 23 for Upper Merion Township’s Recycling Event
Upper Merion Township’s second annual Recycling Drive-Thru event will be held on Sunday, April 23 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at the Upper Merion Middle School Parking Lot, 450 Keebler Road, King of Prussia, PA. This event is free to the public (except certain items through PAR Recycle Works) and is first come, first served until the event ends at 2:00PM or when trucks fill up, whichever comes first. Please read all guidelines on what is accepted through each truck and any additional costs below.
