If you’re looking to get involved, the Tree/Mulch/Stake Maintenance Event is your chance! Hundreds of saplings were planted along the Schuylkill River Trail in Heuser Park as part of the reforestation phase of the Emerald Ash Borer (destructive insect) mitigation project. Volunteer-planted saplings are growing well, but weeds and vines crowd and bend the young trees. Volunteer your time and make a substantial impact on the environment.
